The Institute is not so much a group of people as it is the nidus and impetus of a movement, of which many of us are, and/or will be, a part. Healthcare in America is ripping apart at the seams. All the major players - the insurance industry, the pharmaceutical industry, medical suppliers, etc are all pulling in different directions. And it is all about money. But who is advocating for making the actual care people receive what it could and should be? Exactly - no one. This is why we exist. We are the mechanism for the movement that must happen. We must get back to actively focusing on and pursuing best treatment. After all - this is what “health care” is.
